95 Lane Closure Content – Week of December 21

The express version

  • On I-95 northbound Tuesday night, there will be overnight closures with a full traffic stop that could last up to 30 minutes
  • There will be daytime closures on Hospital Center Boulevard and Courthouse Road

I-95 northbound

There will be a single northbound lane closure north of Exit 143 (Garrisonville) to Exit 148 (Quantico) at 9 p.m. followed by double lane closures at 10 p.m. Between midnight and 3 a.m., Virginia State Police will assist with stopping all northbound traffic between the two interchanges to allow crews to move a crane across the travel lanes to the median. The full traffic stop on I-95 northbound may last up to 30 minutes. Closures will take place at the following times:

  • Tuesday, December 22: 9 p.m.-4:30 a.m.

Stafford County

There will be a single lane closure on Route 630 (Courthouse Road) and Hospital Center Boulevard between Route 1 and Austin Ridge Drive. Closures will take place at the following times:

  • Monday, December 21: 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 22: 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
